National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) - Members since 1997
NFPA is a global organization which develops codes and standards to minimize risk and effects of fire. Through more than 250 technical committees, the organization establishes criteria for construction and electrical design, installation, and safety. The National Electrical Code (NEC) is developed by one of these technical committees. The NEC is updated and published every 3 years.
As a member of NFPA, Vegas Electric field leaders participate in annual conferences and training programs to stay current on code changes. Vegas Electric in turn conducts bi-annual in-house training to ensure field team members are aware of NFPA installation standards.

National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) - Members since 1997
NECA is a US based trade organization that supports electrical contractors through advocacy, education, research, and standard development. NECA has over 118 local chapters and produces numerous informational resources addressing business and project management, standards, safety, and technical issues.
As a member organization, Vegas Electric business and technical leaders attend annual conferences and frequently participate in webinars to stay current on project management, leadership development, technology, and standards.

Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) -
Members since 1999
IEEE is a professional association for electronic and electrical engineering. IEEE produces peer-reviewed journals, magazines, and conference proceedings, all of which are available to its members.
Vegas Electric relies on IEEE publications for design, installation, and testing standards in addition to procedures for both electrical and photovoltaic systems.

International Association of Electrical Inspectors (IAEI) -
Members since 1999
IAEI is an international trade association providing certification and training programs for electrical system installation, and expert leadership in electrical code interpretation.
