The island's operating environment has unique challenges: extreme weather, corrosive salt air and ground water, geographical isolation, complicated logistics, and voltage fluctuations.  With over 30 years of installing and repairing equipment, we have learned which materials will withstand the harsh conditions, and how to get them here.

US Electrical and Safety Code Compliant.  Vegas Electric has set the bar for good work practices and quality control. We guarantee that our installations meet or exceed the requirements of the US National Electrical Code (NEC).  We voluntarily self-regulate to the highest possible standards, to guarantee quality solutions for our customers and a safe work environment for our people.

We invest in our people. We train our electricians to U.S standards, provide them quality tools and equipment, and ensure they are compliant with NEC installation and OSHA safety standards. Our senior engineers attend annual certification training, industry conventions, and tradeshows to maintain awareness of best practices and emerging technologies. 

We stay informed of international standards and best practices.  We hold memberships in multiple global industry associations and actively maintain awareness of international standards, best practices, and emerging technologies.

Project Coordination. We utilize project management best practices to avoid common sources of customer dissatisfaction, such as poor communication, project delays and unexpected additional costs. Our dedicated project coordinator provides the customer a work plan and timeline at project initiation, monitors each stage of the project, continually communicates with the customer, and provides training and documentation once the system is commissioned.

Continuous Improvement  We have considerable experience and expertise.  We also understand there are always opportunities to improve.  We actively engage with customers to collect feedback and value their opinions and suggestions.

We have been working with our manufacturing partners for over 20 years and they have been in business for decades.  They understand we are in a high heat marine environment and ensure our designs include equipment that will operate well under these conditions.  They have a proven track record of success in the field with a low incident of equipment failure, they honor and deliver on their 10 year+ warranties, and have a proven track record of business health and stability.  

Best in Class.  Our manufacturing partners are specialists with a narrow focus. They design and engineer best-in-class equipment for a specific function and stick with it.  They have well-funded research and development departments.  They continually rank in the top 5 of their sector. 

Engineering Technical Support.  We have long standing relationships with the engineering and support teams of our equipment partners.  They review designs, provide input on new equipment options, and are on-call for real-time technical support during installation and setup. 

Certified Installers.  We are the manufacturer representative and certified equipment installer.  We participate in ongoing training and knowledge-sharing webinars to stay current on new equipment offerings, technical settings and installation best practices.

We guarantee Our Equipment and Our Work

Manufacturer Warranty.  Vegas Electric provides warranty service, for all installed equipment and materials, throughout the duration of the manufacturer warranty period. We register all installed equipment with the manufacturer and process all warranty claims.  We cover all international shipping and customs fees.  Should equipment malfunction or fail, we ensure that our customers do not have any hassle nor incur any cost during warranty repair or replacement.  

Workmanship Warranty.  Vegas Electric warranties all labor performed and material installed not covered by the manufacturer warranty for a period of 1 year.  Workmanship warranties may be extended through participation in the annual maintenance program.

Continuity of service is our priority. In the event of equipment malfunction or failure while under warranty, and if the malfunction or failure affects your continuity of electrical service, we will make every effort to install temporary equipment to keep your system up and running until the new or repaired parts arrive back on the island.

Customer Service Commitment.  During the warranty period, Vegas Electric technicians will respond to service requests within 2 hours during normal working hours (Monday-Friday 7:30 am – 5:00 pm). Based on the urgency of the request, technicians will arrive on-site within 24 to 48 hours.

 

We offer Maintenance Agreements

 

Maintenance Programs*.  Every manufacturer has a suggested maintenance program for their equipment.  The US National Electrical Code (NEC) also prescribes maintenance schedules. Following these guidelines, Vegas Electric developed system maintenance programs to ensure our installed equipment continues to perform optimally, despite the harsh marine conditions. 

First Year Free. Following system commissioning, we provide the first year of service and maintenance at no cost.  Our customers can then choose to continue the maintenance program for a nominal annual fee. Additionally, the Maintenance Agreement will extend the terms of the Vegas Electric Workmanship Warranty.   

Annual Maintenance Agreements.  Under these agreements, our engineers will conduct onsite preventative maintenance 2 or 3 times a year to replace consumables as prescribed by the manufacturer and perform all suggested equipment testing procedures.  A post maintenance report with photos is provided to the customer after each site visit.

Customer Service Commitment.  For customers participating in the annual maintenance program,  Vegas Electric technicians will respond to service requests within 2 hours during normal working hours (Monday-Friday 7:30 am – 5:00 pm). *NOTE: We offer maintenance agreements only on Vegas Electric systems. We do not service nor maintain systems installed by other contractors.
